Oh, Deer
Chakra 4: Connect with Love
Last week we moved up to a crescendo of energy and broke through to receive the cushion and soil for what we will be planting for the future. Did you notice any foundational changes in your life or relationships? This week we are in a heart chakra focus. Connect with those you love. Reach out. Move beyond fear. Remember what you love about the people in your life and what motivates you to keep your heart open and in trust. The map this week was a mule buck deer. His ear is perked up in alert presence, not in alarm. Soft. Full. Open. His eye is focused on us. His nose open to take in our scent. Fully engaged in the act of listening on all levels. His eye, ear, and nose are the color of demanding-of-the-sacred. Can you see, hear, and smell what is sacred in your life? You may need to hold still and listen. Listen. Listen some more.
Deer totem is about the capacity to hold unconditional love with such softness and gentleness that it can overcome even the most powerful demons. The stag is also about spring and fertility. An omen of strength, power, grace, and spiritual awakening. His antlers show he is not fully grown—but are in the color of Mother Nature green. Through the growth and shedding of protection, we will have all that we need. His fur is in the color of superpowers and unconditional love. I could almost smell his warmth and a musky radiation of grace. Take your time this week. Be strong. Listen for what is sacred in your life. Unconditional love means loving others beyond the limits of judgment, mind, and preference. It can be very hard. And, is nearly always the way to grow. Love will overcome your fear. Be as vulnerable and present as you can be. We are love or we are fear. See you next week.
Aubrey, I want this… Every bit of it… On a banner on my wall. So poignant and beautiful.
Thank you
