Chakra 8: Change of contract

Last week a stag was reminding us to listen, be present, let go of protection, and begin to herald in the spring. 

Hope you got connected with your people and stayed centered in love.

This week we move into chakra 8. The 8th chakra is about our earth contracts. Contracts are the tasks and goals we came into our lives to accomplish. Not everyone experiences life from this lens. But, those who do, often feel a timing to the cycles of growth in their life: a birthing, a time of development, productivity, and completion. When the 8th chakra comes up, it generally means a change of contract: often the old one is complete and it’s time to move into something new. 

On an EmBody Map, this most likely represents that we are collectively ending the cycle we are on and initiating a new one. There may be a feeling of completion. Or, of the space after completion—which feels like limbo. Or, you may already be feeling the stirrings of the new growth. 

The map this week was a gigantic rain drop—the symbol for precipitation. Precipitation is a term historically associated with mystics. Specifically, the process of bringing spirit into matter or physical form. This drop is in the color of intuition. 

Inside the drop of rain is a snow capped mountain, smiling at us, and a rainbow. The colors of the mountain are in resilience of the heart and Mother Nature green. And the mountain brings ancient and lasting energy: massive and grounded. 

What are the passions in your life that bring you to a mountain level of resilience?

The snow—fresh, new, white, bordered by pink, like a spring snow. This is the energy of unconditional love and unlimited potential at the top of our resilience.

A rainbow bridge into another dimension shines above the mountain, with the red on the top—in the moving spirit into matter direction.

The message is Precip(ice)-itate. Taking us right up to the top of the mountain. Looks like it’s time for all of us to get in touch with our own inner mystic and bring the spiritual energies to the top and into material form.
